Meet the Owners

   Tim and Joy Warner have been the owners of Warner Home Comfort LLC located in Carrollton, Ohio since 1998.  They expanded in 2016 and bought Smith Piping Company established in 1971 and merged it with Tim's already existing HVAC company to offer plumbing services, HVAC services and a retail supply store.


   Tim and Joy both graduated from Carrollton High School and The Ohio State University.  Tim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from OSU and Joy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.  They have been married for 30 years.  They moved back to their hometown of Carrollton where they raised their son Gabe who also graduated from Carrollton High School and currently attends the University of Mount Union.  


  They love living in their hometown and giving back to their community.  The Warners enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, they are members of The Church of Christ (Christian Disciples) in Carrollton and Tim is an avid golfer.  


  Their business philosophy to provide quality & caring services has been unwavering since 1998.

  • Why do I need to hire an HVAC/Plumbing Professional?
    We understand costs and we understand that there is a wealth of information online about how to do your own home repairs, however a lot of times attempting to make repairs on your own will end up costing you more in the long run. We offer professional services by highly qualified techs that will assess your needs, make any needed repairs or replacements and save you stress and costs!
  • Is my unit still under Warranty?
    If you purchased your system through us or if we installed your system, give us a call and we will be happy to check on warranty status for you. If you are not sure if your system has a warranty, check the date on the unit and give us a call, we will do our best to help you!
  • Do I really need Preventive Maintenance on my HVAC System?
    We highly recommend that you have your HVAC System serviced at least once a year. Preventive maintenance can prevent the need for an expensive repair or system replacement. Don't forget to change your filters at least every 3 months! Changing your filters and doing preventive maintenance helps to protect the sensitive components of your HVAC System. Not properly caring for your unit will cause the system to eventually fail. Call us, we provide the preventive maintenance checks that you need!
  • Should I Replace or Repair my Unit?
    This is one of our most asked questions and it is determined on a case-by-case basis. Our qualified tech will inspect your unit and discuss your options with you and make a recommendation based upon your situation. We will take our time and explain why a repair or replacement is needed and what is involved.
